Day 1: Nairobi/Sirimon/Judmier Camp (Old Moses
Camp)
Guests depart Nairobi at 8am and head to Nanyuki where they are
expected to have lunch 4 hours later. They will then proceed to
Sirimon Gate situated one hour away which is 2440m. Hikers will
take the track that will take them uphill through the forest
which turns to heath land after a 3 hours walk. The track will
veer to the right to the Judmier Camp at 3300m after three and a
half hours for diner and rest at night. L,D.
Day 2: Judmier Camp/Shipton Camp
Hikers will take the uphill track after breakfast then take a
left turn at the junction to the Old Moses camp. One hour after
the camp you will find Ontulili River. Take the right road into
the moorland that crosses Liki North and head uphill to
Mackinder’s Valley where you will have a panoramic view of the
main peaks. On this second day of climbing Mount Kenya hikers
will have dinner and rest overnight at Shipton Camp which is at,
4200m. B,L,D
Day 3: Shipton Camp
Acclimatizing is very necessary when climbing Mount Kenya. The
third day will therefore be used for this purpose. Climbers will
go the Kami hut and down to the to Hauseberg Lakes (Hauseberg
Tarn and Nanyuki Tarn) .Afterwards they will get back to Camp
Shipton for dinner and overnight rest.
Day 4: Shipton/Point Lenana/Mount Meru Bandas (Chogoria
Gate)
The day starts at 3am up a steep quarry cutting through lower
Hall Tarns to arrive at Lenana point at 6:30am after 3 hrs. Next
is a 2 hour breakfast at the Mintos hut then down to Meru bandas
located at 2950m for dinner and rest.B, L, D.
Day 5: Chogoria Bandas/Chogoria/Samburu
The last stage after climbing mount Kenya is going down hill for
2 hours through 15km to a clearance where you will find four
wheel drive vehicles that will take you to Chogoria village then
connect to samburu wildlife safari
- Afternoon game viewing
drive in this reserve. Lunch, dinner and overnight at Samburu
Sopa Lodge,.

Day 6:Samburu Game reserve
-
early morning game drive and after breakfast proceed for the
morning game drive. Return to the Lodge for lunch and rest. 1600
hrs afternoon game drive might be lucky to se the rare species
of the Grevy's Zebra and Somali Ostrich among the big five.
Dinner and overnight at Lodge.

Day 7:Samburu -Lake Nakuru
- Depart to Lake Nakuru National Park with a stop over at
Nyahururu Falls to arrive in good time for lunch at Lake Nakuru
Lodge.
Day 8:Lake Nakuru-masai Mara
After breakfast departs for Maasai Mara - the land of vast
migrating animals. Arrival will be in time for lunch. After lunch
embark on a game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mara Camp
site
Day 9&10:Masai
Mara
Full days spent exploring Masai Mara in search of the Big 5.
Morning and afternoon game drives are offered. Optional hot air
balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$ 450 per
person .Dinner and overnight stay at Mara campsite
Day 11: Masai Mara -Nairobi
Pre breakfast game drives then return to the lodge for breakfast ,
return to Nairobi where the safari ends
