After early breakfast in your Hotel at 6:00 am, Our Mountain guide will pick you and drive to Aberdare Mweiga Gate in Nyeri, Where you will pick an armed ranger. Nyeri is an agricultural rich province in central part of Kenya. On the way, you can see Tea bush and coffee firms. After picking up a ranger, you will drive further to Treetop gate where your trekking starts with an armed ranger and porters. After checking in at Treetop gate, you will start trekking for like 5 to 6 hours to Task campsite where you will have dinner and over night. On the way from Treetop gate, you may see Animals like Elephants, Giant Forest Hog, Bush pigs, Buffaloes, Leopard, Hyenas and large variety of Antelopes.
After breakfast, your potters will help you to pitch off you tent and leave with a picnic lunch leave to Reed back campsite through heavily dense bamboo forested slopes and after some few hours the terrain opens up into a moorland in the upper part. Various species of wildlife inhabit these mountain ranges, hiding in this heavily forested slope and in the upper moorlands. Some of the animals likely to be seen in this upper part are wild dogs, Bush backs, Herd of Buffaloes and Klipspringer. The trekking this day takes around 6 to 7hours depending on your pace. As potters pitching your tents and chef preparing your dinner, The Ranger will take you down to the fall for a refreshing moment.
After break fast, leave with a picnic lunch to Magura Queens cave falls and after enjoying the photo session of Queen Cave fall, proceed further to Karuru fall and later to Reedback campsite for dinner and over night. Various species of wildlife inhabit these mountain ranges, hiding in this heavily forested slope and in the upper moorlands. Some of the animals likely to be seen in this upper part are wild dogs, Bush backs, Mountain Reed back, Herd of Buffaloes and Klipspringer
After breakfast and pitching off your tents, descend down through Kiandongoro gate to Road Head barrier where you will meet your transfer vehicle to the one or more of the above destination.
